In 1978, the Allen family started buying up phone exchanges other companies called “unserviceable.” In 1997, we started Pathway Com-Tel to bring high-speed internet to those similarly underserved areas, not because there was money in it, but because it was the right thing to do.

That spirit made us one of the first five companies in the U.S. to offer fiber-to-the-home. We named ourselves Pathway because that’s what we build: pathways forward — to telehealth appointments, remote jobs, and classrooms that open up the world.

For nearly 50 years, putting our neighbors first has been our mission. Connection isn’t a luxury. It’s how you live the life you deserve, right where you are.
